Hi–I'm Justin.
I’m obsessed with lasers and exploring ways to utilize them for fun and profit.
Want to learn how to use a fiber laser with LightBurn? Check out my free course, Fiber Laser Ignite.

People ask what machines I use, so here’s what’s on my bench and what’s coming next.
01 / COMING NEXT55W CO₂
xTool X1
The X1 is next on my bench. It starts with a 55W CO₂ laser and can expand with diode, UV, fiber, and MOPA modules—different types of laser work in one machine. I’m very curious to see how it balances all these new features and technologies in practice. I’ll share what I think after I’ve used it.

02 / FIBER60W MOPA
OMG Fiber Laser
My metal engraving workhorse. I use this 60W MOPA for coins, bottle openers, jewelry, and other metal projects. It’s the fiber laser behind much of my course work.

03 / CO₂DESKTOP
xTool P2
Leathercraft is my main business, so I use the P2 to prototype wallets, card holders, and journals and add intricate engravings. It lets me test new ideas quickly, then make precise, repeatable cuts that save me time at the bench.

04 / DIODE40W
xTool S1
I used the S1 for crisp, detailed engraving and photo work. A diode has different cutting limits from my CO₂ lasers, but it excels at fine detail.

05 / DUAL LASER60W MOPA + 40W DIODE
xTool F2 Ultra
A desktop dual-laser setup with a 60W MOPA fiber laser for detailed metal work and a 40W diode laser for materials like wood. It brings both sides of my laser projects into one machine.

06 / CO₂65W
Boss LS-1630
The first laser I bought with my own money, and still the workhorse I use to run my business today.
